Hunter
SALES EXECUTIVEOriginally from Indianapolis and moving to South Florida when he was 10, Hunter has spent the last 25 years fully embracing all that the offshore lifestyle has to offer. Hunter has extensive experience in the Super Yacht industry both on the management side and being a crew member.
He has been lucky to travel the world and has brought the yacht standard into his everyday boating. He has held private captain positions and manages multiple boat programs in South Florida currently. He has had the opportunity to oversee many yard periods. Whether it be total refits or simple service, Hunter understands what it takes to get in and out of the yard in a timely fashion while leaving no detail overlooked. In 2015 he held a polespear world record while spearfishing in the Bahamas, and in 2024 he caught the coveted South Florida yellowfin tuna while fishing his Bahama 41 off Palm Beach, weighing in at 141 pounds. In his off time you can find him on the boat, surfing, shooting his shotgun, or spending time with his wife Abigail and their two dogs, Radar and Reba.

Across Every Vessel Category
The team at Offshore Yacht Group is structured around vessel specialization. Hover any card to see what that means for you. When you call, you get routed to the broker who knows your category best. Not a generalist. Not a junior agent. A specialist and a local member of the community who boats here.
Center Consoles
30 to 60 feet, from tournament ready rigs to family friendly layouts.
Center Consoles
From tournament ready rigs to family friendly layouts, our specialists know hull design, fish box placement, T tops, and the electronics that matter most offshore.
Used Viking Yachts
Particularly tournament-rigged sportfishers.
Used Viking Yachts
Our brokers have direct tournament experience with Viking's sportfishing lineup and can speak to engine options, tower configurations, and resale value across the model range.
Used Hatteras Yachts
Hatteras yachts and sportfishers.
Used Hatteras Yachts
From classic convertibles to modern sportfishers, we track Hatteras refit history and hull generations closely enough to flag what holds value and what needs a closer survey.
Used Bahama Boats
Contender, Seavee, Yellowfin, Intrepid, and similar.
Used Bahama Boats
These offshore-proven brands see heavy use on Gulf Stream crossings, so our brokers focus on hull condition, hours, and rigging before anything else.
Offshore Sportfishers
For Bahamas traveling and tournament fishing.
Offshore Sportfishers
Built for long-range runs and serious fishing, these boats get vetted by brokers who have made the same Bahamas crossings and fished the same tournaments.
Dual Consoles & Walkarounds
Built for family use.
Dual Consoles & Walkarounds
Comfort, layout, and ease of use come first here, matching families to boats that fit weekends on the water as much as they fit the budget.
Motor Yachts
40 to 100+ feet, strong inventory in Naples.
Motor Yachts
With strong inventory in the Naples market, our motor yacht specialists read engine hours, surveys, and refit history the way a buyer moving up in size needs them read.
Built In Advantage
Real Hands On Expertise
Our brokers bring hands on marine experience earned on the water, not just from listing sheets. That practical background is what separates us from pure brokerage operations.
Our brokers can read a hull, evaluate a power package, and spot issues that listing portal screenshots will never reveal. For buyers, that is an inspection advantage. For sellers, it means condition reporting that holds up under survey.
The Right Path For Every Client
Buying a yacht is a complicated transaction. Hull surveys, sea trials, USCG documentation, insurance, financing, marina assignment, and ongoing maintenance all factor in. Our brokers walk first-time buyers through the full process and steer them away from boats that look right on paper but will not perform offshore or hold value at resale. Out-of-state buyers get full remote coordination, including in-person inspection on their behalf, detailed photo and video walk-throughs, and representation through closing.

Moving from a 28-foot center console to a 42, or stepping up from a 50-foot sportfisher to a 100-foot motor yacht, is not the same transaction as a first-time purchase. Our brokers handle the trade-in side, the timing of selling the old boat against acquiring the new one, and the spec-level decisions that come with larger vessels. That means you are on both paths below at once. Out-of-state buyers get full remote coordination, including in-person inspection on their behalf, detailed photo and video walk-throughs, and representation through closing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I look for when inspecting a used center console or sportfish in Florida?
Pay close attention to the hull condition, engine hours, electrical systems, and any signs of corrosion from saltwater. In South Florida, boats often face heavy offshore use, so a professional survey is recommended before purchase.
Is it smarter to buy a new boat or a pre owned offshore fishing boat in Palm Beach?
How does a brokerage help with buying or selling a sportfishing boat?
Why is a sea trial important when buying a fishing boat?
How long does it typically take to sell a custom sportfish in South Florida?
Do I need marine insurance before taking delivery of my boat?
Yes. Saltwater conditions around Palm Beach and the Bahamas can be demanding. Insurance not only protects against accidents and weather damage but also helps safeguard you if financing is involved.
